today just so happened to be teh day that i’m so pissed from very early in the morning until now…yes until now…the story begins when yesterday hubby and me wanted to go to Isetan sale to buy kids clothes for Raya..then my maid said “saya banyak kerja la” in an annoyed tone. i dunno about you but to me she don’t have the right to act such way…then i said no you still have to go to nenek’s house (grandma’s house) with the kids. she the pull that sour face. argh~ really apa hak dia untuk buat muka masam macam cuka tu??? when she wash the dishes she was beeing rough…bentak bentak brang barang macam lah tu harta dia…i mean as a maid you should not react such way its just rude! but i just ignored her until sahur time…

i slept rather late so i woke up late i think it was around 4:50am almost 5am but it was not enuf time to cook so i ended up making burgers…i at first did not wake my maid coz i was too annoyed (she slept  early and yet didn’t wake up and prepare the food) to make her any favors by waking her up but then hubby asked me to wake her anyway…so i did she just said “aaaaaa~” and silent…until almost imsak..and i was like…this girl is really testing me…its so obvious that she’s protesting about the later issue… then i had it i was so furious that i went to her room and kick the door down and nock it as hard as i could (marah nih) then i said “woi, wake up…what is this , what are you trying to pull? its almost dawn and you’re still sleeping…u said that you have lots of work if so WAKE UP NOW!!! and start do your work. YOU MIS MANAGE YORU WORK WHICH PILED UP YOUR WORK, WHEN THE KIDS ASLEEP, YOU’RE ASLEEP TOO! so how do you expect to finish your work? you wanna wake up at 8am when i repeatedly told you to wake up at dawn especially when we have kids in the house you should wake up earlier and finish the work early. wash the clothes now so that you’ll be done by 9am and free to entertain the kids…but NOOOO you wanted to sleep more…so if you feeling angry be angry at your self for being stupid and ignorant and DON’T you dare handle my belongins roughly…its my property and i bought it with my hard earn money if you wanna throw things throw your own things…” and i went on and on…blabbering in a high pitch tone  it wasn’t pretty and i supposed it sounded more harsh in bahasa and i do curse

she does have this annoying attitude and i dun think that i can condone it anymore…so i’m thinking of terminating her soon…think its a good idea???

the other night, we had dinner at Saloma Bistro entertaining a friend from Australia. to make story short i hated the food. it was awful! the chicken curry was tasteless, the prawns were rotten…it was mushy for God sake!

It think it was linked with Concorde hotel and that’s made me wonder why did the kitchen management let this things happen? coz Saloma Bistro is a Tourist attraction its where you can have supposedly Good dinner with some cultural entertainment. I honestly felt embarassed with the food and regretted bringing Sue to the joint. Its embarassing coz i’ve seen this sort of dine in concept in Bali, China, Europe and they did a good job entertaining and the FOOD is delicious (of course it is coz you’re supposed to impress the tourists)… like in China they even have a proper stage, ‘proper’ means with sufficient props and backdrops and i was entertained… but what Saloma had was just several dances with minimal explaination of the dance origin   etc. this just shows that Saloma have very little knowledge of culture.

Even so i was glad that my 2 year old son had his fun. He even went up to the stage to dance the ‘Pocho pocho’ dance (this is not even Malaysian, its Indonesian’s)

are you a chocolate fan?? i know i am…then again i never met anyone who hates chocolate so i supposed everyone loves chocolate *day dreaming about the chocolate aroma and that…*

ahhh~ chocolate wonderful feel good comfort food chocolate…simply gives you that wonderful ‘loving’ feeling…its good anyway you like it, as a perfect snack when you’re feeling indulgent ah chocolate never dissapoint!

So if you’re true chocolate lover…here’s some tips you should know so next time around you’ll be an expert!

This is a Chocolate test : (simply to know if the quality of the chocolate)

1. 1st note how the chocolate snaps. A good chocolate should break cleanly with minimal crumbling.
2. then pop a piece in your mouth, it should :-

• melt in your mouth with of course minimum chewing
• then as it melts in your mouth you should feel the silky smooth texture and have that lasting finish somewhat bittersweet and somewhat sour (depending on the chocolate ratio/%) if the texture is less than silky (like grainy) or oily and your immidiate reaction is “blagh” (in other words it irritates your palate) that my friend is the sign of inferior quality chocolate.

3.       then the storage: keep well in a cool place AWAY from direct sunlight! (temp around 18c – 21c) then your chocolate will maintain their form and taste. Refrigerating is a HUGE NO NO (but chilling is Ok as long its in the requied temperature) as there may be separation of componants in the chocolate thus dulling the appearance.

So now you know…next time when you’re buying from the chocolatier you’ll know what you’re looking for.

this pass few days i’ve been under the weather …caught the flu *sniff sniff* this really suck coz i was supposed to go to Sabah soon but have to cancel it coz i’m not the only one is having the big F…my children too the only healthy person in the house is hubby n maid (bunyi komersial plak) Alya is caughing her lungs out. i’m worried been to the doctor but the doctor said she’s still fine (this is because Alya was smiling everytime looking at the good doctor) she said usually if a child is sick (really sick) she wouldn’t even want to smile infact she’ll be very fussy. and i was like…mmmm~ ye ke? but she batuk kuat sangat la…kesian tengok dia shouldn’t she get somekind of anti biotic? the doctor then said that she don’t want to freely give unnecessary medication, Alya seem fine, only light tempereture so she prescribed her with cought/flu syrup, nasal drop (to make breathing easier) and paracetamol….i’m torn in between coz she caugh hard but she does sleep better at night especially last night…only that during the day and evening she caugh really hard should i get a secong opinion??

and there’s Daniel, this guy is a hand full…hari ni jer dia dah kencing atas katil. he woke up and came to me saying “mommy daniel kencing atas katil..” the i went to his bed quickly to change his bed before his urine spread, while doing that i told daniel to go to the toilet and undress. but…he being a naughty fella, refused to go to the toilet but insted followed me, and not even a moment later he peed again. i screem my lungs out…i was so angry at him for not listening to me sigh~arghhhh.. io really hate it when everyone is down with fever susah betul especially budak budak nih. bila demam loose stool slalu tak sempat gi tandas, extra work for me and my maid (my mais is useless most of the time, lambat nak react so not much of a help) sometimes i wonder why i even bother continuing with her contract…ini i tak kerja full time dah pening macam apa..kalau kerja habis macamana….sapa ntah nak jaga…come to think of it..daniel should be in tadika …mmm i want to enroll him to sekolah tadika tahfiz tapi hard to find a good one near by. if you got tip pls leave me a msg.

missed few days of blogging *ponder* let me recap what happened for the last few days…oh yes went to see Indiana Jones…i must say i was kindda dissapointed. I was so excited when the first announced that they’re making the movie. i love the movie, been a fan and always been..but last week was a total dissapointment. i expect more form the movie. I mean usually in Indiana jones movies they’d have many many obstacle to get to where ever Indy wanted to go..they’d be lots of traps, or animal obstacle etc but in this movie, the only obstacle (apart from that cate blanchet character wanted to get the crystal skull) its the large ants and the 3 huge waterfalls. I was expecting traps or what so ever when they entered the so called alien’s tomb. BUT… noooo it was easy…

my husband said that and i quote ” ala harrison ford dah tua, dah tak larat nak buat action banyak banyak..” i supposed that’s true. Harrison Ford is old…*long long sighhh~* in a nut shell, action is lacking in this movie period.

anyway…I’m done with my confinement at my inlaws now I’m bounced to my mom’s coiz i need to ‘jaga’ her house during her trip to China..amboi mama libur nampak…she need me to take care of my dad ..makan minum dia bila dia tak de. so here i am in my mom’s house. i suppose i’ll be here for another 2-3 weeks then its my turn to go for holiday…to bandung….shopping shopping…its my hubby’s anniversary present to me. yea yea…

oh what else…*stare in space*mmm~ today i’ve been a slave to the kitchen since 11am. first i’ve to cook lunch for the family, then i’ve baked cupcakes and pies…yummy yummy I’ll post the recipes later…

last weekend was my movie weekend…i went for a movie for every other day. i’ve watched Iron man and Narnia.

Ironman is a great movie to watch.excellent visual effect simply flawless CGI not to mention the story line really well thought..to me this movie is not the typical superhero movie which sometime have a rather loose story line.

ok, Ironman is about this guy called Tony Stark, he’s a millionair or billionair who owns the weapon manufecturing empire. He himself is a brillian engineer he practically design most of the weapons there. So one day he went for a weapon demonstration somewhere in the desert and later was ambushed and kidnapped for 3 months.

it was then he realised that his life work was actually channeled to the terrorist. to save is life he had create his latest invention ‘Ironman’ to escape. i supposed at that time he was wondering how did the terrorist get his entire weapon collection. so when he was saved, people thought that he has the nervous break down due to the traumatic experience. he tried to shut down his own company but was later asked to ‘laylow’ by his partner. so the question for ya all is ‘is partner has anything to do with the terrorist?’ maybe =p

the terrorist found out about his ‘latest’ invention wanted Stark Industries to make those for them…

ahhhh~ they couldn’t pick anyone better to play Tony Stark than Robert Downey Jr. He’s kindda macho in the movie, i never see him play such character, bravo to him he pulled it off! and the other cast was right on par as well.

If you’re a Marvel fan, you wouldn’t want to miss this! its worth your  RM10! don’t buy the pireted DVD It’ll be a waste coz a story like this should be enjoyed with full Audio and Visual effect…

As for Narnia… i watched this last night. If you thought that the previous Narnia is lame, think again…they’ve regain their place in ‘fantacy’ movie and I must say that i too enjoy this movie. this mainly because there’s improvement from the last Narnia. the plot was better which makes everything else falls to place. More kickass scene (this was lacking in the 1st Narnia) and there were several new character like Prince Caspian who’s deliciously gorgeous ;p and the sword fighting mice so darn c.u.t.e!

the white witch did make an appearance to seduce ’son of adam’, Aslan went MIA and its all up to the King and Queens of a thousand years and Prince Caspian who is unfortunately lacking of experience to lead an army so what chance did Narnia have against the barbaric Thamarien? they’ve destroyed Narnia once will they destroy them again?

Crispy Pizza

Dough

• *200g flour
• *1/2 tbs sugar
• *1/2 tsp salt
• *2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tbs olive oil
• 130ml water

topping

• sliced bombay onions
• sliced pineapple
• pepperonie
• ground beef (cooked: stir fry with a bit of salt and oregano)
• hotdog -sliced
• cheddar cheese – shredded
• mozarella cheese – shredded
• oregano
• pepper bell sliced

you may choose any of your fave toppings, its really up to you! this recipe make 2 pcs of pizza size 10″.

1. add in all the * items and mix well.
2. then add in the olive oil and water. mix well , then let it rest for 5-10mins.
3. then knead the dough until smooth, then make a ball, wrap it in a cling wrap then let it rest again for 30 mins.
4. then divide it into 2 balls and knead it as thin as possible.the thinner the crispier the dough will be.
5. bake the crust until half cook at 200c (5 mins or less). then add in the topping as desired. then bake again until pizza cook about another 5-10mins.
6. ready to enjoy!!
