Lately i’m in the mood for painting…and i’ve always wanted to do folk art, not that i ever took any lessons its just that i thought that i can do it so the other day me and my sister went to OU… at the time i just wanted to get some items for my decoupage project that was long due…they always out of stock…and they were out of stock again when we went there, then folk art came to mind.

So i’ve purchase some wood items, acrylic colors and varnish for my painting the rest is history! it turned out pretty well i must say…

this one i turned it into a fridge magnet..and i still have a whale and a bear still in progress..^_^

I think i’ve mentioned earlier that i’m making laptop casing… It all started when i was surfing the net and i’ve stumble upon pictures in flikr there’s many many laptop sleeves beautiful ones…*breath taking* …then i went to snazzynsuch, she too make laptopsleeves…and she takes order too soooooo…I was so inspired by  that i’ve decided to make one for myself hehehe~i am sorry guys…it seems imageshack is having some problems loading…i wanted to post some pictures here but…i supposed not today…

this picture is from snazzynsuch… cantik sangat…that’s why i try to make one by myself and for myself…but i only make a very simple one….without pockets…hehe

so this is my version of laptop sleeves (girly huh?)

p/s: oh the progress about my diet…ahem *clears throat* well I try to eat as little as possible like to day I only eat 1 pc of bread with nuttela and milo. for lunch i had fried mee. all in little portion i actually measure my food *sigh* measure for 1/4cup for my rice and mee…if i so happen to eat more than that..i have to do excercise double the time…like yesterday i had 2 pc of chocolate cake (indeed my cryptonite) so i dah to do Cardio extra time and now i’m paying the price my leg hurts…ouch tsk tsk~

still remember my tudung sulam project? yuppp..now i’m finally starting the embroidery…even tho its still unfinished by the look of it i know its gonna be beautiful…

for the flowers i use colonial knots and the fish bone for the leaves to make fern like leaves…cantik kan? you don’t see much of these kind of design in the market coz its tidious to make…speaking of which i have to finish this quick coz i just got some orders for this tudung embroidery…i hope that i can finish the orders on time…

if you’re wondering how much i take for tudung embroidery here’s the rate:-

using ur own tudung RM100 -(this is the usual option for most customers, as they wanted to upgred their tudung, especially ones with single lined octant)

Using my kain RM140 – cost extra coz i have to manually hem the seam and of course the cost of the kain…(colors can request)

its still relatively cheap coz in the market these type of tudung would cost you up to RM250 in KL…

p/s: – these are all my designs and i take pride making it so be nice don’t claim this as you own!

ni dia projek sulam tangan pada tudung ku….yang asyik tergendala jer…nih baru tengah buat sulam cabut kat tepi tepi tudung tapi tak siap siap lagi…hampeh kan? tak pe nanti akan ku coba untuk siapkan sulam cabut nih heheeh~ wish me luck!
