handbags…a girl’s love affair

its amaizing how us girls can get really hooked up with handbags or even shoes for that matter…in my case, my love affair is with handbags…i just loves them! hubby would roll his eyes whenever i gaze or glance or even thought of stopping by the handbags boutique. He said that its a waste of money and storage…i have dozens of handbags and somehow i only use some of it…maybe hubby was right its a waste of storage space…and yeah money…

but here’s the thing…i was so called ’spring cleaning’ the other day and i was surprised to see my handbags are cluttering most of the space in our storage room.  then i thought its probably the time for me to find some of my handbags a proper home…so i’ve spent some time cleaning them and pack them to give them away…i feel sad letting them go coz i DO love them all but i have to be realistic right??

before i start to clean my handbags i surf the net to get some cleaning tip and i found martha steward website….the tips are very helpful so i wanna share it with you…

Cleaning Your Handbag How-To
1. Empty all pockets and shake gently to remove dust and debris.

2. Clean interior of bag by gently pulling it inside out and using a lint roller. If you can’t pull out the lining of your handbag, you can use the fabric brush attachment on your vacuum.

3. Clean exterior of leather bag with alcohol free baby wipes.

Tips for Extending the Life of Your Handbag
1. If there is a big stain, don’t try to clean it yourself. Take it to a leather expert as soon as possible.

2. If your handbag does not have “feet” on the bottom, you can have them added by a leather-care expert. Feet protect the bottom of the bag from scratches and dirt.

Tips for Keeping the Interior Clean

1. Never put a pen in your purse without a cap on it.

2. Keep makeup in a separate makeup bag.

wedding makeup…

makeThe other day i did a makeup test for my brother’s wedding. it’s really been awhile but i think i still have it ^_^… for the akad nikah i wanted a natural  and fresh look but but i’m scared if the makeup will eventually look pale especially in the pictures. so i try using some intense colors but still in the natural tones like brown and gold with a touch of black, rosey cheeks (i tried red lipstick just to see if she can carry off red coz not many can pull that color off) and i think she looks stunning anyhow…

foundation-base-step-1

the very first step is to …

  1. clean face and get moisturized.
  2. then apply base/ primer this is to get that wonderful glow on your skit plus it’ll even out any imperfections.
  3. then apply concealer at your dark circles, under eyes, blemishes etc, with dabbing motion. DON’T RUB!just dab, then apply foundation evenly.eyemakeup-step21

Next is to start coloring the eyes…

  1. start with the brow. trim/pluck any ‘wild(unwanted)’ brow. DO NOT OVER DO IT! or you’ll look like someone who’s stuck in the 70s. then use brow pencil or brow powder using brow brush, start lightly filling in the brow. enhance the brow but dont over do it or you’ll look fake!
  2. in the no2. picture both brow are already drawn and then start applying a nude base eyeshadow. this is to enhance the eyeshadow more.
  3. then apply the highlights /the lightest color, all over your eyes, including the rims of your eyes to create a somewhat smokey eyes then in my cake i’m using gold. then apply a darker tone in my case i’m using brown at the corner of your eyes just below the eye bone to create 3d effect.
  4. then apply a dark brown eyeliner or black eyeliner on your eyelids and the rims of your eyes.
  5. lastly apply black mascara, about 2 coats or so. use mabeline they have the best mascara ever!
  1. almost-done1apply  eyeliner to define eyes
  2. then apply mascara
  3. then apply lipliner pink or nude shade
  4. then apply pink lipstick oh yeah don’t forget the  blusher, use slightly darker pink for night time and vis a versa. to apply blush just smile and blush away in a circular movement like an infinity/eight symbol..this way it somehow even out the color.

final-makeupthis is the final out come. the make up is the same here and i only changed the lipstick color. isn’t it great with just a change of lipstick color the whole appearance changes!

Recommendation: Makeup Madeup…

my mom and 1 went to Sunway Pyramid the other day in search of a perfect gift for my futur sister in law…as we were walking and searching along with more or less  with dissapointment then we walked into this makeup boutique the Brand name is Inuovi. Honestly i haven’t heard about this brand before but judging from the boutique outlook and the products, i think its not a ‘cikai’ brand (cikai means lousy). Its also abit pricy, especially to someone who’s middle  or sometimes NO income like me. But we went and test the products and we love it! Totally! the sales persons are also friendly and not so pushy (i like that in a sales person). Coz i hate those ‘hard sell’ promoter forcing us to buy things that we don’t want…*grinds teeth* anyway we bought some makeups as gifts for my future sister in law and we also ended up buying some for ourselves… i mean i love the powder, foundations and the eye colors and liners… i mean i really really love it. why? i tell you why…

  1. because i have an ULTRA sensitive skin, and i hardly can wear any makeup coz my skin with have burning sansation but with iNuovi i can finally wear makeup again. which means they probably use mild ingredients suitable for sensitive skin like mine.
  2. the colors are intense and does not fade or smudge as easy – love it!
  3. the foundations and powders are easy blending and you can find the perfect match for your skin tone
  4. the make up is CAMERA friendly!!! makes you look alot better than without makeup or other makeup <– i was told that iNuovi is camera friendly coz it was initially used for studio/stage purpose somewhat like Kryolan
  5. Excellent concealer! <–my no1 choice next to bobbi brown’s

the down side is that the price of these products doesn’t come cheap ( i admit i’ve spent alot on these and hubby was not very pleased) so if i may suggest; you can mix brand but for iNuovi, make sure you chose iNuovi for the concealer or powder/foundation. Then you can later try the eye and cheeks colors. The eye colors are somewhat like MAC so you may compare the price and buy the more economy ones but i think iNuovi color last longer but if you use Fix it lotion before applying the eyeshadow it’ll last even longer and will prevent the unwanted goo developing at your crease of the eyes (this happens especially if you have oily skin or live in a humid weather…)

INUOVI MUST have:

  1. Perfector full coverage concealer: why we love this? coz its crease resistance and Anti-cakeand of course provide high coverage!
  2. Undercover: Under Eye Dark circle corrector
  3. Facefix UV compact powder
  4. Litebase: light diffusing liquid foundation
like my make up?

like my make up?

pretty natural huh? i love the nude lipstick…

these are what i use...

these are what i use...

oh yeah teh eyebrow i use what i’ve already have at hand its a brow powder by bobbi brown and i also use a lipliner by Inuovi- lip definity shade:honey

me1I’ll post a tutorial on how i do my makeup soon so stay tune!

today just so happened to be teh day that i’m so pissed from very early in the morning until now…yes until now…the story begins when yesterday hubby and me wanted to go to Isetan sale to buy kids clothes for Raya..then my maid said “saya banyak kerja la” in an annoyed tone. i dunno about you but to me she don’t have the right to act such way…then i said no you still have to go to nenek’s house (grandma’s house) with the kids. she the pull that sour face. argh~ really apa hak dia untuk buat muka masam macam cuka tu??? when she wash the dishes she was beeing rough…bentak bentak brang barang macam lah tu harta dia…i mean as a maid you should not react such way its just rude! but i just ignored her until sahur time…

i slept rather late so i woke up late i think it was around 4:50am almost 5am but it was not enuf time to cook so i ended up making burgers…i at first did not wake my maid coz i was too annoyed (she slept  early and yet didn’t wake up and prepare the food) to make her any favors by waking her up but then hubby asked me to wake her anyway…so i did she just said “aaaaaa~” and silent…until almost imsak..and i was like…this girl is really testing me…its so obvious that she’s protesting about the later issue… then i had it i was so furious that i went to her room and kick the door down and nock it as hard as i could (marah nih) then i said “woi, wake up…what is this , what are you trying to pull? its almost dawn and you’re still sleeping…u said that you have lots of work if so WAKE UP NOW!!! and start do your work. YOU MIS MANAGE YORU WORK WHICH PILED UP YOUR WORK, WHEN THE KIDS ASLEEP, YOU’RE ASLEEP TOO! so how do you expect to finish your work? you wanna wake up at 8am when i repeatedly told you to wake up at dawn especially when we have kids in the house you should wake up earlier and finish the work early. wash the clothes now so that you’ll be done by 9am and free to entertain the kids…but NOOOO you wanted to sleep more…so if you feeling angry be angry at your self for being stupid and ignorant and DON’T you dare handle my belongins roughly…its my property and i bought it with my hard earn money if you wanna throw things throw your own things…” and i went on and on…blabbering in a high pitch tone  it wasn’t pretty and i supposed it sounded more harsh in bahasa and i do curse

she does have this annoying attitude and i dun think that i can condone it anymore…so i’m thinking of terminating her soon…think its a good idea???
